When Grapes Worldwide evolved into the world's first fully AI led creative agency, the challenge was not to redesign a logo, but to create a visual system that reflected how modern creativity works. Inspired by the structural intelligence of a grape cluster, we transformed the familiar symbol from a static collection of circles into a connected system where every circle represents an individual and every connection represents collective intelligence.
The identity was designed to be responsive rather than fixed. The number of circles changes based on the size of a team, while the visual treatment adapts to reflect different departments, allowing every team to develop its own expression while remaining connected to a larger shared vision.
A defining design decision came through inversion. Traditionally, grapes hang downward. By turning the structure upward, the logo became a pyramid, transforming a familiar symbol into one that communicates growth, ambition, and progress while remaining unmistakably a grape.
This same logic informed the creation of GENIUS, a proprietary type family and broader identity system, resulting in a brand that evolves alongside its people, teams, and ideas.
