Every fizzy drink in the world owns one of the most satisfying sounds ever created - the POP. It's a sound we've been conditioned to associate with excitement, refreshment and indulgence. The problem? More often than not, it belongs to products that aren't particularly good for us. So we asked ourselves a simple question: Why should unhealthy drinks own the POP? That question became the foundation of Backbay Sparkling Water's launch platform. Pop Into That Gooood Feeling! reimagines the pop as more than the sound of opening a can - it becomes the sound of making a better choice. A tiny celebration of choosing something lighter, cleaner and genuinely better for you.

We wanted the campaign to feel as authentic as the product itself. Instead of asking people to watch the launch, we invited them to become part of it. Through interactive POP Booths, bar activations and street-side vox pops, people shared what their own "gooood feeling" meant to them, with selected moments becoming part of the launch film alongside founders Bhumi and Samiksha Pednekar. Real people became the voice of the campaign, transforming a product launch into a community-driven brand story.

The idea extended far beyond the film. A bold visual identity system, expressive typography, playful layouts and dynamic motion gave Backbay a distinctive look, while the POP itself evolved into a strategic sonic asset across films, reels and social content. Because the strongest brands don't just own colours, logos or taglines - they own distinctive memories. Our ambition was simple: to make every POP feel like the sound of a better choice.
